Let the fun begin...
- The Gray house has been emptied into the new Chateau Garage Hotel and 3 new sleeping spaces are on the Oceanfront !
- A design has been agreed to for a sparkling new 908 sq ft. Two Bedroom replacement with a 12x16 deck off the front. The front kitchen and great room area will have 11 foot ceiling at its peak and tons of windows facing to the newly cleared view of the ocean.
- Interesting de-construction showed the house was wrapped in insulation and then the gray siding
- The destruction begins - August 3, 2015
- The Whole house has been elevated about 6 feet with a minimum 2 foot crawl space in the back, french drains on the sides channel water away and down the hill towards the ocean.
- The front has much higher ceilings that the old with 8 foot walls and 11 foot peak inside. Back bedrooms are well lit and larger and Bathroom is much bigger with a tub for all the grand kiddies and great grand kiddies.
- October 30...Drywall complete, Electrical in (not energized) and rough plumbing done. Ready for button up !
- November 14...Siding on, eletrictriciy in. Nice Pine ceiling in the front, Decks completed choosing paint colors...popular gray wins.
